How do i make a podcast RSS feed?

How do i make one? i don’t care if i have to pay to buy one, i just want one that isn’t going to limit me in any way. Also, could you guys explain how i add podcast files to the feed? I just don’t get it. I have a mac running leopard with garage band and iweb. In want to use those apps so….thanks!

    I would suggest that you use a hosting site dedicated to podcasts. They will generate the RSS code for you. You’ll upload all your episodes to the same URL, and that’s what makes the code. That way, when people subscribe, they get all of your episodes.

    It doesn’t cost anything for the code, but you should expect to pay $5.00 a month for bandwidth to support the listeners. There are free sites just for practice, but your listeners will get an error message because you will run out of bandwidth.

    The easiest way to create an RSS feed is to use software. A podcast is simply an RSS feed that contains an audio file in the enclosure field. The software I would recommend is FeedForAll (there is a Windows and a Mac version). The following will walk you through the process of creating a podcast using the software – http://www.feedforall.com/podcasting-tutorial.htm (there is also a built in wizard).
