There’s this radio station i know (www.fm104.ie) and they podcast one of their shows (fm104 phoneshow). The only way they tell you to get the podcast is to get it from the iTunes podcast directory. I don’t want to install iTunes and I was wondering if there was a way to discover what the RSS feed is.

@susan g: i meant that the podcast’s feed isnt displayed on the website and i want to find out a way to discover the address of the feed. Maybe if someone subscribes to it, then they might be able to see details about it.

RSS feed for podcasts must be created by the web site itself, there is no rss feed for the itunes podcast directory as such.
I’m pretty sure that a podcast has to have an RSS feed in order to iTunes to be able to detect when new material is posted. That being said, probably the best way that you can find the URL of an RSS feed is to sign up for Google Reader. Google Reader enables you to subscribe to any website with an RSS feed and then delivers new content to your desktop. But, that’s not what you’re going to use it for, at least not in the context of your inquiry here.
Once you have signed up for Google Reader, go into Google Reader and do a search for new content, and enter ‘fm104′. If there is an RSS feed for it, and there should be if it is a podcast and lists on iTunes, then Google Reader will display it and you can cut and paste it to wherever you need to.
For instance, the RSS feed of The White Collar Ruckus Podcast is:
http://whitecollarruckus.libsyn.com/rss
Have you tried entering http://www.fm104.ie/rss and seeing if that’s the RSS feed? In any case, the Google Reader should be able to determine what the feed is.
Go to the web site and click on the rss icon or install i tunes
Get a program called Ipodder free from the net. You don’t need itunes which just fills your PC with bloatware. Get Ipodder from the link supplied below. Good luck!
